Morning Tour: Santa Fe History Tour by the Discovery Tour Guides departs the La Fonda Hotel lobby daily at 10 am. Always the first thing you should do in Santa Fe, the tour is a leisurely walk downtown with stops at the many outdoor historic spots in the city: The La Fonda itself, the historic Plaza, the Indian art market, the Palace of the Governors, the courtyards of Palace Avenue, the Cathedral and Loretto Chapel. A great orientation to the “City Different.” You’ll feel like you own the town after this tour.

Lunch and Afternoon Activity: By car visit the Santa Fe Place Mall Food Court. Restaurants in the Food Court include San Martin Mexican, Rice Village Express and the Dairy Queen Grill & Chill. The nearby Boba Tea Company is also a popular stop near the Food Court.
For an after-lunch thrill, children can experience the Clip ‘n Climb Walls (participants must be at least 42” tall), the Sky Trail Ropes Course (for adults and older teens) or the Sky Tykes zip rail Course (for 48” tall children and under). Check online at liggettville.com

After lunch continue north on 84/285 to Pojaque and state highway 502 to Los Alamos. Visit the Bradbury Science Museum to hear the story of the Atomic Bomb and children’s science activities.
